Author: Peter Kuraj
Dimensions: 200 x 200 cm
Technique: Wooden sculpture with metal parts
Freestanding two sculptures of The knight Don Quijote de la Mancha. The body of the sculpture is made of approximately 120-year-old maple fallen during a windstorm in 2004 in the High Tatras. The pedestals are old agricultural forged wheels. The head is flame-baked and subsequently welded metal. It is a satire on knightly novels, a picturesque novel from the Renaissance period.
