Barbara Issa Wagner

Born on 11th December 1978. Since 1990 permanent study in the studio of her father, a renowned Czech painter and graphic artist L. M. Wagner.

After graduation at the grammar school, she worked in the studio of Teresa Dara and attended Escola de Belles Arts between 1998 and 2000.  During her professional years she took several study trips to Spain, France, Germany and Austria. Her paintings are in private as well as in public collections throughout Europe, USA, Australia, India and the China. She exhibits mainly in the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Spain and France. She is a member of the Interció Group in Barcelona, International homme d’arts Fabourien and the Union of Artists of the Czech Republic.

Her works have been published in 6 catalogues and mentioned in 38 articles and press reviews. A Czech TV program “4 minutes” on ČT2 provided information about the exhibition as well as 12 minutes Blue Channel – Spanish TV South – medallion.

She has received several prestigious awards and diplomas in the Czech Republic and abroad. Her personal data are included in the prestigious social encyclopaedia “Who is Who”.

Besides her trips abroad, she works in the studios in Písek and Hajany situated near the town of Blatná.
