Patrik Illo

Born 16. November 1973, Považská Bystrica, Slovakia.
Patril Illo is a representative of contemporary visual art and a respected glass designer. Patrik is the Lead Designer and Visual Artist at Rona a.s., he focuses on glass design, experimental design, creation of objects and installations.
Since 2010 he has been the Director of the GLASS Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. He is the laureate of several prizes awarded for design, as well as the finalist of the Oskar Čepan Prize for 2007, and his works have been presented at 40 individual exhibitions and more than 100 joint exhibitions in Slovakia and abroad, as well as being published in various collections.
Patrik Illo lives in Považská Bystrica and in Bratislava.
