On Friday, October 16, 2015, at 5:00 PM, the opening of the exhibition S.N.Y. took place in the Glass Pavilion of the manor park in Čereňany.

All three exhibiting artists were present at the event. Viera Žáková, who invited the artists on behalf of Atelier Hlavina, selected the exhibited works in collaboration with them and curated the exhibition, introduced the artists and invited them to present their work in their own words.

The first to speak was Jan Svoboda, describing himself as “a painter from Radňovice,” who explained his transition from figurative to abstract painting. He was followed by Tibor Nagy (Rimavská Sobota), who spoke about his technique alla prima. The trio was completed by Vladimir Yurkovic (Malacky), who engagingly presented his graphic works inspired by typography and the aesthetics of lettering.

Thanks to an attentive audience genuinely engaged with the exhibited works, the opening of the exhibition naturally transitioned into its informal part.

Artists and guests of Atelier Hlavina gradually immersed themselves in lively discussions about the artworks, their meanings, and the creative approaches behind them. The welcoming atmosphere was further enhanced by the hospitality of the Čereňany Manor.

One aspect stood out in particular: the diversity of artistic approaches and exhibited works proved to be the driving force behind a rich and engaging experience—not only of the exhibition itself, but also of the direct encounters with its creators.
