By my graphic work, I try to be a contra to the visual art in which the outer form is suppressed. I point out a lack of craftsmanship, study, in the process of creating a work of art, so I conceive myself so that the viewer at first glance does not think the idea “I would have mastered that myself”, on the contrary. I want to enhance, maintain this relationship, the viewer – the author, but without unnecessary decorative elements or affection. My intention is to find the right relationship between the attractiveness of the outer form and its hidden content.
My work is based on drawings, in my work I can see illustratorial basis and fantasy. I am mainly involved in the technique of large format linocut.
I was born 10.10. 1990 in Košice, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, led by a professor, illustrator Dušan Kállay.
