Dáša Čurajová
Dáša Čurajová from Stupava, works with ceramics several years. Her desire to create was born during maternity leave, when she was attending ceramics courses and first artworks were created. She started with handmade bowls. During the parental leave her children were the inspiration for her first ceramic picture. She started under the pseudonym Dasha Ceramics. Today, she mainly works on ceramic paintings, occasionally hand-made bowls and statuettes.
She works on two levels- abstract and naive, both of which are characterized by simplicity, timelessness and playfulness.
She exhibited ceramic paintings in Bratislava as part of a national art competition – Artistic spectrum and at international exhibition of naive art in France. Every year Dáša creates statuettes as awards for artists in International naive art competition – Naiva Bratislava
