Adžana Modlitbová

Author lives in vineyard town Pezinok (western part of Slovakia). Visual art has enchanted her already in her early childhood. She hadn´t been looking for the certain classification of her style of painting from the very beginning, she had been painting for her own pleasure. After she received a lot of positive reviews to her works, she decided to try participate at the competition “ART SPECTRUM”. The qualified jury enrolled her works in to the „insita / naive art  category.

Naive and pure perception of the world are reflected in her paintings, as well as colorfully depicted beauty of Slovak country, people, traditional Slovak’s folk costumes and ornaments. But the most significant is the materialization of her dreams and imaginations in her paintings.

To promote naive art painters from all over the world she invented and annually organizes the project of the International naive art exhibition “NAIVA BRATISLAVA”.
